A Call for Partners and Funders

Over the past year, our work in Eastfield has shown something powerful.

When people are given simple creative tools to slow down and notice the world around them, meaningful changes begin to happen.

Through our mindful photography project, 76 people engaged directly in workshops, one-to-one support, and community sessions. Participants reported feeling calmer, more connected to their surroundings, and more confident in themselves.

But beyond the numbers, what stood out most was the ripple effect.

Participants shared the practice with family members, joined our growing online community of over 500 people, and continued using photography as a tool for reflection and wellbeing long after the workshops ended.

This is why we believe therapeutic photography has enormous potential within community wellbeing and preventative mental health support.

However, the demand we are seeing is growing.

Local agencies, community groups and residents are increasingly asking how they can access similar programmes. With the right partnerships and funding, we could expand this work significantly and support many more communities.

At Mindful Photography UK CIC, we are particularly interested in connecting with:

• Funding bodies supporting community wellbeing and preventative mental health

• Local authorities and public health teams

• Charities and community organisations interested in creative wellbeing programmes

• Researchers exploring innovative approaches to mental health and social prescribing

• Corporate partners interested in supporting community impact initiatives

Our work shows that creative, accessible approaches can reach people who may not engage with traditional wellbeing services.

If you are interested in partnering with us, funding future projects, or exploring research opportunities around therapeutic photography, I would love to start a conversation.

We can really help more people pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves and their communities.
