Leeds was beautiful today as we slowed down and took notice of our surroundings. It was wonderful to spend time with like minded people on our workshop for IDAS staff โค๏ธ @idasfor100 Did you know about our Five Days in Between project ? A FREE community project funded by Forensic Response UK. Donโ€™t miss out โญ if you know someone whoโ€™d benefit from some community connection at twixmas sign them up ! Today, I had the privilege of delivering an impactful session in therapeutic photography, thanks to Healthwatch North Yorkshire. We focused on womenโ€™s health in North Yorkshire, particularly exploring the potential changing relationship with alcohol for women aged 40-60. Our amazing trip to York Art Gallery with #RisetoThrive participants. We have been meeting up monthly since June exploring historical buildings and spaces. Thank you York Art Gallery for your welcome and for Better Connect for funding our trips which have helped to build confidence. The group bonded so well and supported each other. Rise to Thrive Mindful Photography UK sessions will resume late winter 2026. #mindfulphotograohy #lizwest #confidence #betterconnect #connection #photographyforwellbeing Our beautiful women โค๏ธ โ€ฆ. Sadly our Women in York project comes to a conclusion this Wednesday. We have achieved some amazing outcomes and we are busy writing our feedback for @tworidingscf which we will share in due course. We can extend this project into a day course for women on 19th November - and we will be embedding maths, literacy and IT to support our pledge to upskill our community.
