Let’s Celebrate!

Successful Completion of Easingwold Project

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our Easingwold project. This exciting endeavor was a participatory photography project made possible through the generous funding of Tees, Esk, and Wear Valley NHS and North Yorkshire Council.

Coordinated from the rural community of Easingwold, North Yorkshire, UK, this initiative brought together eight dedicated participants. Over the course of ten months, from July 2023 to May 2024, these individuals actively engaged in monthly meetups and took part in structured exercises designed to promote wellbeing.

We are immensely proud of the collaborative spirit and the positive impact achieved throughout this project. The group’s photos were displayed at Easingwold Community library throughout the month of April and we are now ready to go on tour! If you have a space where we can display our vibrant exhibition boards and would like to help us celebrate the work of these individuals, hearing about the outcomes of Therapeutic Photography, please do drop us a line!

“I liked the permission to do what you could, there was no pressure, we had permission to be free and create”.

“I loved to see other’s interpretations and share in our discussions. Hearing the wisdom of other people, took the overwhelm of my feelings away so I had more space and expanse to be open.”
