Precious feedback from our most recent workshop last week

I received this email last week which filled my heart with such joy. I asked the participant if I could post their exact words. I’m so grateful that they agreed.

“Good evening, Rebecca.

Thank you for this lesson tonight.

It had many purposes, I am grateful.

Special in this harsh time photography is, as a powerful magnet to smuggle me in a more meaningful and beautiful realm and through this to recharge my batteries.

Thank you for creating this opportunity, reminding us to look till we see, and to focus till the shift of emotional status is happening.

Images on this blog are not for reproduction and belong to a participant with Mindful Photography UK CIC 2025

Very early in the morning the sun rises up the flag of hope and the promise of a better day (s) to come.

The futile force of the tide in front of clever structures built by us to resist this mysterious dark force of the tide. The force of the sea and the fragile appearance of the protective structure meant to save us from the anger of the stirred up sea. Or maybe life?

Oh and over all the revealing light the meaningful light!

The images from the next exercise of this lesson:

A bunch of winter leaves and flowers which past their prime: they appeared a bit drooping…

Looking from different angles, and with different light, focusing on the parts, choosing different focus and meanings the beauty is revealed again with more deep meaning: Similarities, profundity of the colours, hidden shades of colours and their blend. Seeing, focusing the mind on discovery of novelty was the key to attract the mind into philosophy of the meaning of all around and to powerfully distract the mind from the pain.

Little twig of a fair tree remained to hold the flag of permanency.

I really love the contrast between white of the helleborus flower and the dark red of the buds heading white inside of their magic chambers.

Thank you Rebecca for the guidance”.
