Last week I was joined by more participants who wanted to experience Mindful Photography in a totally unique setting; the Recycle Project CIC, Hazel Court, York where an astounding 240 tonnes are saved from landfill each year!

This 3 hour workshop looked at some simple techniques to enhance visual literacy before exploring the warehouse.

The surroundings allowed us to explore stories together in a safe environment. Mindful Photography is part of a wider process called Therapeutic Photography where the main outcomes relate to enhancing self esteem; we were able to explore our own narratives through focussing on the objects we discovered.

I am there again for the final workshop next February, spaces are limited so get your ticket here!
