Absolutely! We’re seeing an increasing number of women and children engaging in our sessions, discovering the joy of mindful photography. At our workshops, we strive to create an inclusive environment where anyone interested in mindfulness and wellbeing can participate, regardless of skill level.
Mindfulness can be a practice for everyone, and embracing a beginner’s mind is a vital part of that journey. A beginner’s mind means approaching experiences with openness, eagerness, and a lack of preconceptionsโessentially, setting aside judgement. This is MUCH easier said then done, and we can support you every step of the way.

It be challenging for some. By releasing these limitations, everyone can fully immerse themselves in the experience and cultivate their creativity. Mindful photography invites you to explore, learn, and express without fear, allowing moments of pure beauty to unfold naturally. So, whether youโre just starting or refining your skills, we welcome you to join us on this mindful journey!
Learn about how we worked with a female community in York during the last six months.

We are delighted to be part of York International Womenโs Week 2026, 1st-8th March, with some excellent events just outside these dates. The programme offers over 50 events, many free, organised by the local community and focussing on both local and global issues: from films to informative talks, from dancing to tennis, from creative workshops to yoga, from music and poetry to photography, from exhibitions to clothes swaps and activist events โ and more. Do check out the full programme on www.yorkwomen.org.uk and join us in celebration and hope.
